Workshop organised by Exposer-Publier and Yann Owens for Une Saison Graphique at Le Havre. Creation of several visuals by different collectives for the elaboration of Affiches Matrice which regroup the projects of each one. Graphic work on the stairs between the lower and upper town of Le Havre, principles put forward: wear and tear and the trace. Production of an edition grouping together the silk-screened research stains.

Bonjour, je suis Marion Quillien, diplômée
en 2023 d'un DNSEP de l'École supérieure d'art et de communication de Cambrai (Ésac).
Originaire de Bretagne, je travaille principalement sur le paysage. J'explore des techniques de création naturelles, notamment la teinture végétale, en utilisant des plantes que je récolte lors de mes promenades pour créer mes propres couleurs. Je fabrique mes encres végétales en utilisant les pigments obtenus à partir de mes teintures.
Par ailleurs, j'ai également une pratique de l'édition, et de la sérigraphie en accordant une attention particulière à la trame et aux textures.

Resume

Hello, I'm Marion Quillien, a Master's degree graduate of the École supérieure d'art et de communication de Cambrai (Ésac). Originally from Brittany, I work mainly on landscapes.
I'm exploring natural techniques, in particular natural dyeing, using plants that
I collect on my walks to create my own colours. I make my own natural inks using the pigments obtained from my dyes. I also work in publishing and screen-printing, paying particular attention to raster and textures.

Proposition d’affiche et de carton d’information imprimé en bichromie en risographie pour la 10e édition. Le goût des autres est un festival de création littéraire au Havre et donne lieu à des lectures, débats, performances, rencontres avec des artistes ou encore concerts et spectacles pour vivre la littérature autrement.

Proposal for a poster and information card printed in two colours in risography for the 10th edition. Le goût des autres is a festival of literary creation in Le Havre and gives rise to readings, debates, performances, meetings with artists or even concerts and shows to experience literature in a differen way.

Expérience interactive pour l’évènement Pixels et sons au Musée des Beaux-Arts de Cambrai, j’ai participé à l’évènement Pixels et sons. Travail à partir du tableau de Geneviève Claisse, Interaction, le spectateur est immergé dans le tableau grâce au son (bruit de vagues) et à l’image. Les lignes se meuvent en fonction des utilisateurs qui,avec la slyde bar, décident du rythme de l’image et du son.

Interactive experience for the event Pixels et sons at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Cambrai, I participated in the event Pixels et sons. Working from Geneviève Claisse's painting, Interaction, the viewer is immersed in the painting thanks to the sound (wave noise) and the image. The lines move according to the users who, with the slyde bar, decide the rhythm of the image and the sound.

Édition en 31 images découpées constituant un paysage que l’on découvre en feuilletant, elle propose une autre lecture du paysage photographié, une balade dans celui-ci que l’on découvre en entier qu’une fois arrivé à la fin. Déclinaison en cartes postales.

This edition is made up of 31 cut-out images forming a landscape that you discover by leafing through it. It offers another reading of the photographed landscape, a walk through it that you only discover in its entirety once you reach the end. There is also a postcard version.

Workshop organisé par Claire Williams. Réalisation de deux tricots évoquant un souvenir, par le paysage et par le son, ici représenté par un spectogramme audible grâce à l’application Phonopaper. Les textiles ont été créé avec une machine à tricoter, piratée par Claire.

Workshop organised by Claire Williams. Creation of two knitted fabrics evoking a memory, through the landscape and through sound, here represented by a spectogram audible thanks to the Phonopaper application. The textiles were created with a knitting machine, hacked by Claire.

Development of an image rasterisation application with Processing that plays on pixel displacement and image detail.

Travail initiatique qui part d’un besoin de m’apprivoiser la ville et d’une envie de marquer ce territoire par ma présence. La volonté ici est de ré-enchanté les panneaux d’affichages continuellement envahi, créer une pause, inciter à vraiment les regarder. Photographies prises au bord du canal de l’Escaut à Cambrai et à Leipzig. C’est un témoignage sur l’éphémère, témoignage d’une action dans l’espace. Car irrémédiablement, tout est recouvert, déchiré, arraché.

This initiatory work stems from a need to tame the city and a desire to mark this territory with my presence. The aim here is to re-enchant the continually invaded billboards, to create a pause, to encourage people to really look at them. Photographs taken on the banks of the Escaut canal in Cambrai and Leipzig. It's a testimony to the ephemeral, a testimony to an action in space. Because everything is irretrievably covered up, torn up, ripped away.
